Intel unveils Arc Pro graphics cards

Intel, which entered a big competition with AMD’s attack on the processor side, did not stop there, but also turned to the graphics card side. Intel, which has included the internal graphics module in its processors for many years, last year announced the Arc series, which will contain high-performance graphics cards. New models with Arc Pro graphics cards have been added to this series.

Last year’s promo revealed the gaming performance of the graphics cards. Arc Pro Series Models Next As can be understood from the expression Pro attracts professionals. In other words, these graphics cards are designed for computers where applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, Handbrake and DaVinci Resolve Studio will be used extensively.

Intel’s new Arc 7 series graphics card models, the A770M and A730M, competed against NVIDIA’s RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060 models.

What are the Intel Arc Pro series features?

The Arc Pro range currently consists of three models, the most notable being the ‘tiny single slot dweller’ Arc Pro A40. The Pro A50 appears as the top model and occupies a dual slot. Unlike these two graphics cards, the A30M is designed for laptops.

All three models have built-in support for ray tracing and machine learning, but their specifications differ. The A40 and A30M have 3.50 teraflops of power, while the A50 offers 4.80 teraflops of power.

Both desktop models have 6 GB of RAM, while the model developed for laptops has 4 GB of RAM. In addition, the cards support AV1 hardware acceleration, which Intel says is an industry first.

Compatible with multi-display setups, Arc Pro graphics cards have four ports. This supports two 8K displays, one 5K 240 Hz display, two 5K 120 Hz displays, or four 4K 60 Hz displays.

Intel has not yet revealed how much these new graphics cards will cost, but has announced that they will be available from the end of this year.
