AMD “accidentally” shared the Ryzen 7000 family

With the Ryzen architecture, AMD has managed to take the competition in the processor market to the next level. Continuing to work on the Zen 4 architecture, AMD has shared the specs of the Ryzen 7000 series on its website.

The Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X models are listed on AMD’s official website. The Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors will come with the AM5 platform, which supports next-generation technologies such as PCIe Gen 5.0 and DDR5.

The Ryzen 9 7950X processor will be presented with 16 cores and 32 threads. It is believed that the processor manufactured with 5nm technology can reach a maximum clock speed of 5.5 GHz. The flagship processor will be offered to users with 80 MB (64+16) cache memory.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor will have 12 cores and 24 threads. The model, whose maximum clock frequency is 5.4GHz, will be presented with 76 MB (64+12) of cache memory.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X is rated as the most preferred model by the end user. The model, which comes with 8 cores and 16 threads, will be able to reach a clock frequency of 5.3GHz. The Ryzen 7 7800X, which is expected to be introduced with 40 MB (32+8) of cache memory, will consume between 65W and 125W.

According to the leaked information, AMD will introduce the new family of processors at the launch on September 15. The processors are expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2022.
